Som tidligere opplyst er DNO ASA (DNO) via et tidligere datterselskap Viking Petroleum AS, involvert i en rettsvist fra 1994/1995 med det nederlandske meglerfirmaet KBW Wesselius Effectenbank NV. DNO er blitt informert om at byretten har dømt DNO til å betale meglerfirmaet et beløp begrenset oppad til omlag SEK 12.0 mill. pluss renter.
DNO har ikke hatt anledning til å gjennomgå premissene for dommen, men vil høyst sannsynlig anke saken.
