TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company today announced the commencement of a new combined non-exclusive/contract 2D program offshore Malta.
The planned survey (9000km) will provide the oil industry with a state of the art set of data covering some of the deep trenches in Sicily Channel as well as most of Malta’s continental shelf. A 1000km contract survey covering Hardman Resources’ License Area 3, Blocks 4 and 5 will be incorporated in TGS-NOPEC’s operations.
The first data from this new survey will be available during 1st. Quarter 2001.
