The TDL Group Signs Contract with Intentia to Implement Movex E-Collaboration Solution


LONDON, Ontario, Canada/STOCKHOLM, Sweden (PRIMEZONE) -- Intentia International AB (publ) (XSSE:INT B) today announced that R.J. Thompson Data Systems Inc., the Intentia business partner in Canada, has signed a contract with The TDL Group Ltd. of Oakville.

The TDL Group has agreed to implement a software solution from Intentia which includes a 1,000-user Movex enterprise license and an Internet e-collaboration infrastructure. The software will be used to supply Internet-based inventory replenishment for over 1,900 Tim Hortons franchise locations in North America. The contract includes the software license, ongoing maintenance, and implementation services and training.

Potentially, there could be in excess of 1,000 Internet users of the system, with the stores using the Movex application as part of a new enterprise Internet portal. The portal would become the information hub for The TDL Group's future activities and a communication medium with its franchisees. Movex is the first enterprise application deployed completely in Java technology.

The Movex application will be interfaced to an existing warehousing system as well as to the financial systems at The TDL Group Ltd.
