Nokia Wins ‘Best of Show’ Award at Networld + Interop

SYDNEY, March 8, 2001 – Nokia's VPN solution, CC2500, was awarded the ‘Best of Show’ at the prestigious Networld + Interop Awards 2001 yesterday. The CC2500 is the mid-level member of the Nokia 3.0 VPN gateway range that was unveiled for the first time in Australia at the show.

Commenting on the award, Vic Whiteley, General Manager, Nokia Internet Communications Australia/New Zealand said, “This award is a recognition of Nokia's efforts to provide best in class products that allow customers to communicate securely over the Internet. We truly appreciate this award as it is an acknowledgement of Nokia's commitment to deliver a new level of security and reliability.”
