Orkla's Financial Investments area has today, 30 April 2001, bought 3,035,995 shares in Elkem ASA. The shares have been bought at a price of NOK 171.10 per share. After this transaction Orkla, including subsidiaries of Orkla, holds 15,510,862 shares in Elkem, which represents a shareholding of 31.5%.
