President and Chief Executive Officer of Norsk Hydro ASA, Mr Eivind Reiten has on July 16th exercised 3,500 options to purchase Hydro shares at a strike price of NOK 367.50. The options scheme was approved by the Board of directors on December 13th 1999, and includes the senior management of the company.
After this transaction Eivind Reiten owns 4,758 shares. He has 3,500 options left under the same scheme at the same terms. Norsk Hydro ASA owns after this 9,218,723 Hydro shares.
