Sika Group - changes at the top of Finance and Controlling

After more than thirty years of notably effective and successful activity, the current Chief Financial Officer at the Sika Group, Emil Rebmann, will be stepping down in 2002 for reasons of age. The Board of Directors of Sika Finanz AG has appointed Mr Ernst Bärtschi to succeed him as head of Finance and Controlling. He will be taking up his post at the beginning of 2002. Ernst Bärtschi previously held the same function at the Schindler Group.
