DDSI Names Former Oracle Consultant to Lead Corporate Business Expansion Plan

FAIRLESS HILLS, Pa., Sept. 25, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Digital Descriptor Systems, Inc. (DDSI) (OTCBB:DDSI), a leading provider of digitized imaging systems, fingerprint capture and matching products for the criminal justice and security markets, has reached an agreement with Mr. Rudy Hallenbeck, President of SOLVPRO Inc., a privately held high-tech consulting firm, to leverage DDSI products and technology into major contracts.

Hallenbeck stated, "I am so confident of our ability to leverage DDSI's new products into major contracts, that I have committed our company on a contingency basis. If we don't succeed, we don't get paid. We see major opportunities for DDSI technology in national level systems for identification, licensing, voter registration, security systems, etc."

Prior to his position at SOLVPRO, Hallenbeck held executive and large project leadership positions with Oracle Corp. (Nasdaq:ORCL), Harris Corp. (NYSE:HRS), CSI, and the U.S. Air Force. He won numerous awards, leading projects such as the first nonstop computer system for the U.S. government, a contract to develop the next-generation tactical communication architecture for the U.S. Navy, and the first shipboard C band satellite system. Hallenbeck holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy and is a retired Lt. Col. with the Air Force Reserves; while with the U.S. Air force, Hallenbeck also held a Top Secret Compartmented Clearance.

Digital Descriptor Chairman and CEO Garrett U. Cohn commented on the announcement, "SOLVPRO brings to DDSI essential big-project capability and partnering knowledge, which will complement DDSI's proprietary products and solutions." Cohn went on to say, "This agreement is part of a broad but targeted expansion plan that is now well underway."
