Nokia Mobile Phones Ltd., Nokia Networks Oy and some other Finnish subsidiaries of Nokia Corporation have merged into Nokia Corporation. The merger came into effect on October 1, 2001.
The merger does not have any effect on the conducting of business by Nokia Mobile Phones and Nokia Networks, which will continue to operate as separate business groups.
