Intentia Calls an Extra Shareholders' Meeting


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Oct. 29, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Intentia International AB (publ) (XSSE:INTB) announces today that in accordance with its earlier announcement, the Board of Directors of Intentia International AB (publ) (XSSE:INTB) has decided to submit a proposal to its shareholders, noteholders and the Luxembourg Stock Exchange to modify its outstanding EUR 100,000,000 5 percent Subordinated Convertible Notes 2004. This decision was made in order to increase flexibility and to fully benefit from the strong commercial position Intentia has established in the market.

The proposal will be presented for approval at the extra shareholders' meeting to be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. Notice to attend will be distributed via an announcement in Svenska Dagbladet as well as Post och Inrikes tidningar on Wednesday, October 31.

Shareholders who wish to attend the shareholders' meeting and whose shares are managed via banks or securities institutions must be registered as shareholders in VPC's shareholders' register no later than November 2, 2001. Application to be registered must be submitted well in advance of November 2, 2001.

In accordance with paragraphs 4 and 6 of chapter 4 of the Swedish Company Act, the Board of Directors' complete proposal including documentation will be available for review at the company's registered headquarters at Box 596 (Vendevagen 89), 182 15 Danderyd, from November 7, 2001 onward and will be sent to any shareholder upon request.
