On December 11. 2001 Norsk Hydro ASA, Norsk Hydro Asia PTE LTD and Seletar Investments PTE LTD signed an agreement where Norsk Hydro Asia is taking over Seletar's 35% shareholding in Hydro Asia Pacific PTE LTD in exchange for cash and Seletar aquiring 255,659 Norsk Hydro ASA shares. Norsk Hydro ASA will obtain shares in Norsk Hydro Asia in exchange for its 255,659 Norsk Hydro ASA shares. The agreement was subject to several conditions which today are lifted (20 December 2001), allowing, the completion of the transactions provided for in the agreement .
Norsk Hydro ASA's holding of treasury shares after this transaction is 8,962,478
