STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 27, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The County Administrative Court has today decided not to grant Telia a stay of execution of the Swedish National Post and Telecom Agency's (PTS) order to reduce the interconnection charges in Telia's GSM network from 1.18 SEK to 0.92 SEK.
Telia has appealed PTS' order of reduced interconnection charges of 0.92 SEK to be valid from March 1st this year and also requested a suspension of the order. The County Administrative Court's decision not to grant a suspension means that Telia will reduce the interconnection charges to 0.92 SEK from March 1, until the appeal has been settled. Telia is now considering how to proceed with this stay of execution decision.
