LUND, SWEDEN, March 7, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Precise Biometrics has signed a three-year distribution agreement with the international security company Primion Technology AG. Primion has already placed a small initial order for Precise Biometrics' fingerprint reader for physical access control systems, Precise BioAccess(TM). The units will be shipped within the next couple of weeks.
As part of the agreement Primion will offer its current and future customers Precise Biometrics' products for physical access control systems, together with its own security products. Primion is a German based international leading solution provider of access control, time and attendance and facility management systems and has customers like Deutsche Telekom, Lufthansa and Siemens AG. Primion's turnover for 2001 amounted to 40 million euro.
