STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 12, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Vanadisvagen 9 (Mimer 5), Stockholm, will be the new address of the Swedish Institute for Working Life, beginning in December 2002. In addition to its core activities of research and development, the Institute will be expanding its educational activities and knowledge dissemination. The move will increase accessibility to the National Working Life Library, which the Institute administers.
"At present, Institute of Working Life staff members work in different locations around the city. Moving to Drott's property gives us the advantage of being together in a single knowledge centre, which is what we want," explains General Director Inger Ohlsson.

A six-year lease has been signed for about 7,500 sq. m. (BRA) with an annual rental of SEK17.9 M. With this lease, two-thirds of the property will be rented, and an extensive renovation will be commencing immediately. Upon completion of the renovation, the building will conform to present day building norms for new offices.
The remaining areas will be modernised as new leases are signed. The Mimer 5 property is located in an interesting area, close to the Metro and public services.
