Reality Wireless Networks Announces Northern California Expansion

Plan Targets 10-15 Markets and 4,000 Customers by January 2003

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 17, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Reality Wireless Networks, Inc. (OTCBB:RWNI) announced that it would expand their Wireless Broadband Internet services to the community of Saratoga, California. The Company expects to begin operations in mid- to late May.

Reality Networks, a Delaware C Corporation, is a Campbell, California-based company that specializes in providing high-speed Internet access to a target market of small business and residential users in areas where cable and DSL broadband solutions are either unavailable, limited or of poor quality. The broadband Internet access market for these users is very well established and there are no cost-effective solutions for them aside from the use of wireless technologies. This is a market of users that are actively searching for a solution that they can buy.

Saratoga is the fourth in a series of at least ten California communities with substantial unmet demand for high-quality broadband services expected to be added by year's end as the company implements its rapid deployment, "RealityWireless-In-A-Box" program.

"Saratoga is typical of many urban cities with areas whose residents either have no access at all to broadband Internet or are unsatisfied with the quality of what is available. Of its approximately 30,000 total residents, as many as 20,000 are potential subscribers to our company's wireless broadband Internet services," said the company's Project Manager, Jeff Brewster. "Due to the flexibility and resultant low startup costs, which are major components of our `RealityWireless-in-a-Box,' the company expects to launch this market and reach breakeven quickly."

Brewster also took time to stress the importance the company places on providing a necessary service where residents do not have the quality choice they deserve. "Many companies have ignored communities like Saratoga. In our plan, we are targeting these previously underserved areas and Saratoga is a great example."
