Gunnebo Interim Report, January - March 2002 (with link)


GOTEBORG, Sweden, April 25, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Gunnebo:


-- The result for the first quarter better than plan. For 2002 as a whole 
   the profit after financial items is expected to be significantly better
   than the result for 2001.

-- Invoiced sales increased by 14 per cent to MSEK 1,603 (1,406).

-- The operating profit before depreciation of goodwill increased by 9
   per cent to MSEK 48 (44).

-- Gunnebo Security reported a further improvement in its result to
   MSEK 44 (34), an increase of 29 per cent.

-- The profit after financial items, which is normally low during the 
   first quarter, amounted to MSEK 10 (17).

-- The operating cash flow exkluding structuring costs, which also 
   normally shows a seasonal low in the first quarter, improved by
   MSEK 35 to a deficit of MSEK 14 (deficit 49).
