Precise Biometrics' Fingerprint Reader Wins Prestigious Award for Best Solution


LUND, Sweden, April 30, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Precise Biometrics' fingerprint reader for physical access control has been designated "Best biometric solution" at an international trade fair for information security in London. Identix and Sony Ericsson were some of the other companies nominated to receive this award.

The award was presented at Infosecurity Europe, a recently concluded international trade fair in London for information security. Presenting the award was SC Magazine, the leading publication on information security, which annually issues awards to companies that distinguish themselves in this field.

The award-winning solution is Precise BioAccess(TM), Precise Biometrics' fingerprint reader for physical access control systems, which the company introduced in May 2001.
