STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 17, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Drott has acquired the real estate company Slatta Damm AB, with 13 apartment buildings totaling 28,000 square meters on the Hisingen island in Gothenburg. The properties, comprising 443 apartments, are located in Lundby, an area of the city with good transportation alternatives and local services.

The transaction is an element in the effort to concentrate Drott's portfolio on attractive areas and properties. In Gothenburg, Drott earlier in the year acquired 900 apartments in Smyckeparken, Frolunda. After this latest transaction, Drott owns a total of 4,700 apartments in Gothenburg.
