STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 24, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Effnet has appointed Remium Securities as the new sponsor for its "Nya Marknaden" quotation. Remium will also be a market maker in Effnet shares. The change becomes effective as from 24 May 2002.
"Remium has watched over Effnet's development over the past year while the company has refined its business model and clarified its strategy. We appreciate the company's concentration on Header Compression and the comprehensive cost savings its management has pushed through," said Peter Ahldin, CEO of Remium Securities.

The sponsorship means that Remium will oversee the company's provision of information about its activities in accordance with stock exchange rules.
