Wolters Kluwer names Christopher Cartwright as CEO of its Legal, Tax & Business North America cluster

Prior to his appointment as COO of Legal, Tax & Business North America in 2001, Cartwright served as president and CEO of CCH Legal Information Services (CCH LIS), a provider of corporate representation, corporate filing and UCC services. Under his leadership, CCH LIS experienced rapid organic growth, expanded its line of technology-based services and products, completed a series of successful acquisitions and became one of Wolters Kluwer's most profitable companies worldwide. Cartwright joined CCH LIS in 1997 as general manager of CT Corporation, CCH LIS' largest operating unit. At CT Corporation, Cartwright was responsible for a number of the company's core activities, including service operations, business planning, agent services, government relations and legal precedent.
 
The Legal, Tax & Business North America cluster includes the market-leading providers of electronic information and services for attorneys, accountants, and business and financial professionals in the United States and Canada. Legal, Tax & Business North America's operating companies are Aspen Publishers, Bankers Systems Inc., CCH Canadian, CCH INCORPORATED, CCH Legal Information Services and CCH Tax Compliance.
