STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 5, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telia and Sonera, who have announced their plan to merge, have agreed to report their financial performance for the second quarter on the same day. Hence, Telia will publish its half-year report for January - June 2002 on Thursday 25 July 2002, i.e. more than one week earlier than previously announced.
Telia's report will be released on the morning of July 25. Telia and Sonera will hold separate international telephone conferences later that same day. Further information about the telephone and press conferences will be published in due course by each company respectively.
