Stockholmborsen: Review of Most Traded and Attract40


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 18, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Stockholmsborsen's segment for the most traded shares will be changed from July 1st, 2002. The Most traded-segment (Mest omsatta) on the A- list will loose 3 companies while Attract40 will get 15 new companies and 13 companies will leave the segment. One has been delisted during the first six months of 2002.

During the second half of 2002, 47 companies will be included in the Attract40-segment, whereof 15 are new companies. Prior to the end of each half-year period the segments will be changed based on the statistics of the trade. In that way Attract40 and the Most Traded segments will reflect those companies that have been of interest to the investors during the last six months respectively the last year. For example, in the Attract40 segment, the weightings of the Finance and real estate sector has increased while the IT-companies weightings have been reduced.

"The Most Traded and Attract40 are indicators for shares withhigh turnover. Attract40 was launched year 2000 and many companies onthe O-list strive to get there. It is positive with the dynamic in theAttract40-segment," said Frank Teneberg, Head of Issuer Sales,Stockholmsborsen.

New companies on Attract40: Alfa Laval AB, Billerud AB, Brostrom AB, Cash Guard AB, Cloetta Fazer AB, AB Custos, Invik & Co AB, LGP Telecom Holding AB, Medivir AB, Pandox AB, Peab AB, Pergo AB, Q-med AB, Transcom WorldWide S.A. and Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB.

Companies that will leave Attract40: Boss Media AB, Cell Network AB, Elanders AB, HiQ International AB, Karlshamns AB, Poolia AB, Ratos AB, Semcon AB, Song Networks Holding AB, Technology Nexus AB, Teligent AB and Utfors AB.
