Nexus Signs a Substantial Contract within the Secured Messaging-Concept with a Leading German Health Insurance Company

LINKOPING, Sweden, July 24, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Nexus, and its operation in Germany, signs a contract with the leading German health insurance company DAK (Deutsche Angestellten Krankenkasse). This order is for enhancement and delivery of Nexus Secured Messaging infrastructure based on Memo Open Client (MOC) and Memo Open Web (MOW) products.

The initial value of this order, excluding maintenance, is 317.395 EUR.

"One of the most critical aspects for DAK was in the area of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). It was becoming a major concern that existing platform for messaging had relatively high resource requirements for administration (labour), hardware and software cost. DAK is a long term Memo customer since February 1995 and we are proud and delighted over this evidence that our concept of Secured Messaging is really addressing customer concerns," said Ivo Neumann, Managing Director of Nexus Technology GmbH.

Nexus Secured Messaging gives large companies and organizations access to a strong supplier of a reliable and secured e-mail and messaging infrastructure based on cost-effective ownership.

The concept was launched at Gartner Group Seminar in Cannes and has been very well received in the marketplace.

Nexus has signed, and published, four substantial contracts, and are having some really interesting ongoing European negotiations.
