ESPOO, Finland, Aug. 26, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Czech Antitrust Authority has given its approval to TietoEnator's acquisition of 51 % of the shares in SYKORA Group. The agreement between TietoEnator and SYKORA was announced on June the 26th and will be effective from the 1st of October.
SYKORA is a company specialized in network inventory and operations support systems for telecom and utility companies. It has 125 employees in seven European countries. By the acquisition TietoEnator strengthens its position as one of the leading IT service providers to the telecom industry in Europe.
