Scriptwriters Get the Story Straight to Production Companies with ScriptXchange.com

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Sept. 13, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Post Production Corporation (PPC) announced today the launch of ScriptXchange.com -- an online portal that allows amateur and professional writers of film and television scripts the opportunity to expose their work to the global media and entertainment production market, without having to know someone on the inside.

Australian entrepreneur, Joseph Symond, founded PPC in 2000 and saw the need for an online marketplace where scripts for film and television can be viewed, bought and sold.

Symond says, "ScriptXchange is the ideal launching pad for writers out there who have a script and don't know what to do with it. There are literally thousands of talented writers out there who have no way of getting their work in front of the right people. We've spent the past several years building up a substantial network of contacts within the international industry and because of this, people have begun sending us scripts from all over. I felt it would be ideal if we could utilize our contacts and the Internet to get writers the exposure they're after. With so many independent production companies around today, we have such a large market of clients looking for good stories, and there's bound to be quite a number of great scripts out there waiting to be found."

With such industry luminaries as literary agent Arnold Soloway and Producer, George Folsey Jr. on board, ScriptXchange.com expects to become the premier resource for finding quality, original film and television scripts online.
