Sempra Energy Solutions Secures Energy Services Contract With Caterpillar


SAN DIEGO, Oct. 7, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sempra Energy Solutions, the retail energy services marketing arm of Sempra Energy (NYSE:SRE), announced today that it has signed a four-year contract with Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE:CAT) to supply natural gas commodity to several Caterpillar manufacturing locations in Illinois and its logistics services operations.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
