Copenhagen Airports: In November 2002 Total Number of Passengers Increased by 3.6%


COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Dec. 5, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- In November 2002 the total number of passengers shows an increase of 3.6% compared to the same month in 2001. The development for the first eleven months of 2002 shows an increase of 0.5% compared to the same period last year.

In the month of November 2002 the number of international scheduled passengers increased by 4.4%. The accumulated figure of the first eleven months of 2002 shows an increase of 2.8% compared to 2001.

In November 2002 the number of international charter passengers increased by 8.9%. However, the accumulated figure of the first eleven months of 2002 shows a decrease of 13.0% compared to 2001.

In the month of November 2002 the number of domestic passengers decreased by 4.1%. The accumulated figure of the first eleven months of 2002 shows that domestic passengers has decreased by 8.2% compared to the same period last year.

In November 2002 the total number of takeoffs and landings has decreased by 0.4%, while the tonnage shows a decrease by 0.6%. The accumulated figure of the first eleven months of 2002 shows that takeoffs and landings decreased by 8.4% while the tonnage decreased by 5.6%.
