With the sale of Kluwer Academic Publishers, Wolters Kluwer further executes its strategic direction to concentrate on market leading core-activities.
 
Candover and Cinven, both leading players in the field of European private equity, acquired Kluwer Academic Publishers for a total enterprise value of EUR 600 million.
