EDMONTON, Alberta, Canada, Jan. 9, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Shana Corporation has been ranked one of Alberta's 30 fastest growing companies in the 2003 edition of Alberta Venture magazine's Fastest Growing Companies for the third year running. The Alberta-based software company, which specializes in eForms management solutions for large enterprise customers, was also flagged out as one of the top 10 R&D spenders in the province.

Alberta-based businesses with at least three years of operation are invited to complete a Growth Questionnaire. From the submitted information, companies are ranked by assessing points for 10 different categories, including growth in gross sales, assets, profitability and employees, as well as product development, incentive programs, investment in research and development, capital expenditures, marketing and export activity. Growth is reviewed year over year and for the entire three-year period.
