STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 7, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- WM-data
-- Sales in the first quarter of 2003 totaled SEK 1 775 M
(1 840).
-- Operating profit before goodwill amortization (EBITA)
during the first quarter amounted to SEK 179 (114) M and the
earnings after net financial items (EBT) was SEK 170 M (87).
These earnings include items affecting comparability of SEK
90 M (0).
-- First quarter cash-flow was positive and the
equity/assets ratio improved by four percentage units.
-- An agreement was reached with the Norwegian tax
authorities, to the effect that WM-data reversed SEK 90 M of
the provision made in the financial statements for 2002.
This reversal is reported as an item affecting comparability.
-- During the quarter the previously announced deal with
the Danish company, DMdata, regarding the establishment of a
jointly owned computer operations unit in Sweden, was
completed. The company, WDM Nordic Computer Management, is
owned 50 percent each by WM-data and DMdata
