Seeing Ghosts Through Someone Else's Eyes -- New Book Details Life of Gifted Woman Growing Up in Haunted House and Foreseeing the Future

GRAND HILLS, Calif., June 17, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Many scholars argue that reality is really based upon perception, and that what people perceive makes that thing real. Carcamo presents her life to the world and hopes to open their eyes to the ghosts that exist among the living. Her book is a compilation of actual events that she has experienced or witnessed and recorded by others. Based on true experiences, the book details her childhood growing up in a haunted house that seemed to exact a mind and will of its own. Her young years were filled with a fearful basement complete with a shower that everyone had to escape, a wall that refused to come down and mischievous spirits playing pranks on the children.

From spinning chairs to fingernails down a bathroom door, the gift she and her sister possessed seemed more like a curse. Carcamo found that she was able to stare into the future and look back into the past as well as see spirits while her sister was a medium for the souls. Her gift follows her from her home in Pennsylvania to the warm coast of California where she further develops her clairvoyant powers for the benefit of others and herself.
