What: The Joshua Kahan Fund to fight Pediatric Leukemia
kicks off the 5th Annual All-You-Can Eat Festival
this morning in the park adjacent to the
Independence Visitor's Center. They will be building
a 7-Foot Sundae consisting of:
-- 300 Gallons of Vanilla Ice-Cream
-- 10 Gallons of Chocolate Sauce
-- 12 Cans of Whip Cream
-- 1 Large Maraschino Cherry (made up of 300
individual cherries)
Highlights of this Pre-Event include:
-- Mascot Appearances
-- Free Soft Pretzels and scoops of delicious
sundae to passer bys.
Background: The All-You-Can-Eat Ice Cream Festival will be
held from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday July 4th,
Saturday July 5th, and Sunday July 6th on Festival
Pier at Penn's Landing, Columbus Boulevard and
Spring Garden Street. The admission price for the
All-You-Can-Eat Ice Cream Festival is $5.00 for
adults and $3.00 for children.
