STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Oct. 6, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- OM HEX AB (Other OTC:OMGPF) ("OMHEX") has purchased the remaining 427 shares in HEX Plc ("HEX"), which correspond to less than 0.01 per cent of all shares in HEX. As a result of the purchases, OMHEX now owns all issued and outstanding shares in HEX. The purchase price paid for the remaining shares corresponds with the value of the OMHEX shares offered in the exchange offer.
As OMHEX now owns all shares in HEX no compulsory acquisition proceeding will be initiated.
