The Nokia Operations Process Assessment Service is designed to help operators to identify practical possibilities for improving the quality and efficiency of network operations, enabling greater effectiveness and optimization of their operating expenses.  Delivered by Nokia consultants in close cooperation with an operator's staff, the assessment also provides an insight into how the operator's situation matches to similar operators in the same phase of the business life cycle.

The Nokia Operations Start-up Package supports operators in starting and developing their network operations processes and practices for new network technologies. In particular, Operations Start-up Package seeks to help operators ramp-up cost effective processes, which have a positive impact upon network quality, availability and subscriber satisfaction. Practical knowledge transfer such as mentoring is included as a key part of the service package enabling the smooth competence transfer of operating practices to the operator's organization. This package completes Nokia's already extensive portfolio for network operations including technical networks operations outsourcing.

Nokia Service Management Development Consultancy assists operators to develop and establish proper service management capabilities for monitoring, managing and improving the quality of mobile services. The service provides processes and procedures, practical competences, and effective utilization of Service Management tools. For example, using the cutting-edge Nokia NetAct(TM) products (Service Quality Manager, Traffica, Inspector, Reporter, Monitor) for significantly improving the visibility and management of network quality and thus enabling focused attention on achieving the desired quality of service. The operator gains from a shortened learning curve thanks to Nokia's tested and verified 'best practices' and previous experiences shared in practical cooperation. The development is done in customized projects that fit the operator's Service Management development path and meet the operational requirements.

NetAct(TM) Reporter, for multivendor mobile networks, highlights NetAct(TM)'s capability to serve multi-technology and multi-vendor environment. NetAct(TM) Reporter solutions are usable in traditional network level monitoring but they can also easily be combined with service level information to provide a comprehensive network and service monitoring solution. NetAct(TM) Reporter is an integral part of the Nokia NetAct(TM) service and network management system.
