United Online Adopts December 31 Fiscal-Year End


WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., Dec. 18, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- United Online, Inc. (Nasdaq:UNTD), the nation's leading provider of value-priced Internet access services, today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a resolution changing the company's fiscal-year end from June 30 to December 31. The change is effective immediately, and financial information for the transition period will be presented in the company's Form 10-K filing for the six-month period ending December 31, 2003.
