What: Philadelphia's Annual New Year's Eve fireworks
show over the Delaware River! 2003 will end in
sparkling delight with a spectacular fifteen-minute
fireworks show. This year's soundtrack will feature
"DIVAS" from Judy Garland, to Tina Turner, to
Jewel -- there will be something for everyone!
Background: It has become a hugely popular Philadelphia
tradition for Penn's Landing to host New Year's Eve
Fireworks. The sidewalks are lined with onlookers,
streets are filled with people parked in cars and the
Blue Cross RiverRink is always sold out for its annual
New Year's Eve Party on Ice. Pyro Spectaculars explains
a grand firework show this way ... "A fireworks show
combines the sophistication of a Broadway show and the
thrill of a roller coaster ride. The beauty of what you
see in the sky is orchestrated by fireworks maestros
behind the scenes."
