Petri Roininen MSc (Eng.) has been appointed Director, Retail and Office Properties in Sponda Plc. Roininen takes up the position on 1 March 2004.
Petri Roininen joins Sponda from Nordea Bank where he is currently local manager of the bank's business unit in Espoo, Finland. He has worked for Nordea Bank in Finland since 1994 holding various sales and management positions including Vice President, Sales, Bank Manager, Controller and Corporate Analyst.
In his new post at Sponda Mr Roininen will report to Sponda's chief executive officer, Kari Kolu, and sit on Sponda's Corporate Management Team. The new position, Mr Kolu describes, is to manage and develop business models for Sponda's retail and office properties, the leasing of these properties, and the network of Sponda partners providing its business premise services. Mr Roininen will also be responsible for property development within his own business area in line with Sponda's strategy.
