The MSA 2.0 is a pre-tested solution that provides implementation guidance for a proven integrated IT infrastructure delivering scalability and high availability in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 environments. As a key member of the MSA program, Emulex is the exclusive provider of HBAs, including the LP9002L and LP952, for the program.

The MSA program was originally launched in July 2002 for Windows 2000 environments. This latest MSA architecture builds on the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 platform. Other partners in MSA 2.0 include Brocade, Commvault, Cisco, EMC, HP, and Unisys.
