Kemira has started a project in order to evaluate alternative solutions concerning the ownership of Kemira Fine Chemicals Oy. The goal is to find a solution by which ongoing development and future growth can be continued for the fine chemicals business.
Kemira Fine Chemicals produces fine chemicals in Kokkola for industrial uses, e.g. agricultural and pharmaceutical uses. The company's net sales totalled EUR 50 million in 2003 and the company employs in all approx. 140 persons in Kokkola and Helsinki.
