We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the spin-out of our new manager, ALPHA Associates, from Swiss Life Private Equity Partners. ALPHA Associates assumed responsibility for the management of Private Equity Holding on April 1, 2004.
ALPHA Associates is a newly established, independent private equity management company managed by Peter Derendinger, Christoph Huber, Petr Rojicek, and Petra Salesny. The ALPHA Associates team has worked together for a number of years and has expertise in private equity, corporate finance, consulting, law, tax and audit and considerable experience in all aspects of the management of private equity portfolios.
Based on the performance of the team and the quality of the services provided, ALPHA Associates received the full support of the board of directors of Private Equity Holding during the spin-out process and we are convinced that the appointment is in the best interests of our shareholders.
The restructuring of Private Equity Holding is now completed and the company is positioned for a new strategic future in an attractive market environment. The appointment of ALPHA Associates secures investment management know-how, experience and expertise, and Private Equity Holding is looking towards the future with renewed confidence.
