Since the company's foundation in 1994, ADVA has grown to become Europe's No. 1 and the world's No. 2 provider of metro optical networking solutions. Strong partnerships with blue-chip vendors like Siemens, Fujitsu, CNT, IBM, and EMC, together with a broad global customer footprint of 86 carriers and several thousand enterprises, have resulted in an installation base of more than 50,000 Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) channels. ADVA's customer-oriented mindset has strongly influenced five generations of product development, resulting in an unparalleled depth and breadth of platforms and features for the metro optical networking market.
