WHAT: Clay Glenn, senior product marketing manager at Emulex Corp.

week's HP World 2004 on Wed., August 18 at 5:30 p.m. at
McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. Mr. Glenn will present a
tutorial entitled, "The Looming SAN Storm in the SMB."
This session will discuss the benefits of Fibre Channel
technology and its migration into the SMB market.
Emulex will also showcase a variety of solutions at this
year's HP World conference and expo, including its InSpeed
(embedded storage switch technology -- which is integrated
into the HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA)
solution for back-end switching. Emulex InSpeed solutions are
on display with the HP StorageWorks EVA 5000 in booth No. 411.
Additionally, the Company is demonstrating its recently
released LP101 Fibre Channel host bus adapter --
designed specifically for SAN connectivity within small
and medium business (SMB) environments, and features AutoPilot
Installer to simplify installation and deployment of SANs for
SMB users.
Other expo highlights include a demonstration of the enhanced
capabilities of the Emulex centralized HBA management suite,
HBAnyware, used in conjunction with HP's latest release of
OpenView Storage Area Manager (OV SAM). This configuration
features the new Emulex Open Source Linux driver coupled
with additional functionality that enables HBAnyware to be
launched as a local element manager on any given remote
host, from within OV SAM, in a seamless and integrated
fashion. While OV SAM manages discovery and topology
mapping, HBAnyware provides the in-depth, integrated HBA
management, thereby augmenting the overall feature set.
