Communications Research to Introduce TeleWRITER-AGS 3.0 at TechXNY October 5-7


MAHWAH, N.J., Oct. 4, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Communications Research, Inc. (OTCBB:CRHI) announced they will begin an aggressive marketing and sales campaign, publicly exhibiting the new TeleWRITER-AGS 3.0 for the first time at the TechXNY Conference and Exhibition at the Javits Center, New York City on October 5-9, 2004. The new TeleWRITER-AGS (Advanced Graphic System) software has undergone a complete rewrite to improve its functions and operation. Extensive system testing has been successfully completed at TeleWRITER Corporation, based in Tampa, Florida, corporate headquarters of Communications Research and selected Beta Testing sites.

"The results of the beta testers were unanimous in their comments about the new version of TeleWRITER-AGS, that being it is the best and most stable version," said Jeff Cone, General Manager of TeleWRITER Corporation; "It's ready for release, and within two to three weeks we will begin shipping the final product."

TeleWriter Corporation has signed up for eight trade shows around the country in the next five months to kick-off the new product marketing campaign. Following TechXNY, the company will exhibit at the NJEdge Conference in Princeton, NJ. NJEdge is the consortium of New Jersey Colleges and Universities for sharing communication and distant learning resources. Carl R. TeleWRITER AGS (Advanced Graphics System) had not been upgraded for over 5 years, but still commands a very loyal following. At its peak, TeleWRITER-AGS had approximately a 60% share of the collaborative computing market in the mid-1990's. TeleWRITER-AGS has maintained a significant market share in the collaborative computing market, which is predicted to exceed $3 billion this year.
