One of the most popular interiors in Katzkin's 1,400+ pattern library, the North Shore package will be available in both two and three row Tahoes.
This interior package actually starts on the outside. Drivers will be able to show off that they're not driving just any Chevy Tahoe because of a pair of chrome-plated metal North Shore badges -- one applied to each front wheel well.
The North Shore Edition features a custom two-tone leather interior in either Desert with Shale inserts or Smoke with Graphite inserts. Each combination features North Shore embroidery and contrast stitching to compliment the subtle two-tones. And just in time for winter, the front seats come equipped with Katzkin's own seat heater system.
The centerpiece of the North Shore package, though, is an innovative DVD entertainment system from Audiovox, which includes a 7 inch LCD monitor mounted into the back of each front headrest. What makes this system unique is that the headrests make up the entire system. DVD's are inserted directly into the back of the screen which pops out from the headrest. The headrests even come pre-upholstered from Katzkin so the only thing left for the installer to do is wire it for power.
North Shore was officially launched at the 2004 SEMA Show in Las Vegas on November 2. Brisk sales of Chevy Tahoe interiors and growing consumer demand for mobile entertainment systems indicate that Katzkin may well be on top of yet another widely successful interior package.
