Divestiture of Consumer Imaging closed

. Agfa-Gevaert announces that the divestiture of its Consumer Imaging business was closed as of November 2nd, 2004. The photographic film, finishing and lab equipment activities will, as of this date, be continued by a company, named AgfaPhoto, which operates completely independent from Agfa.
 
All relevant assets and liabilities have been transferred to AgfaPhoto GmbH as well as approximately 2,860 employees and the transaction closed as planned.
