SAMPO LIFE TO BECOME SAMPO PLC'S FULLY-OWNED SUBSIDIARY
Sampo plc's holding in the Sampo Life Insurance Company Limited will rise to 100 per cent, as Sampo Bank plc's Extraordinary General Meeting has today decided to distribute the Sampo Life shares it owns to the holding company as an extra dividend for 1 January 2003 - 31 December 2003. The value of the extra dividend is EUR 26 million.
