With heightened concerns over incoming packages and deliveries to hospitals, utilities, financial institutions, and government facilities, Inbound Facility Based Tracking Systems or "Inbound" is the cutting edge solution for logging, tracking, and reporting the chain of custody for parcels, letters, and other packages.
Greg Dawson, CEO of Secure System Solutions, stated, "This agreement extends our partnership with Pick Professionals and fits perfectly into the Business Process Solution Division of the company. The product is complete and ready to be delivered to these targeted markets immediately. Inbound documents the chain of custody of a package, letter or parcel from the point of possession (custody) and is tracked in the system for future reference. Using an Intermec 700 or Symbol PPT 8800 Windows CE device, signatures and inbound mailing bar codes and information are scanned and recorded maintaining a continuous chain of custody for the inbound material. This also documents Proof of Delivery, logs the parcels condition, avoids duplication of records, and provides notification of delivery via email for prompt delivery of sensitive materials. The solution also allows signature capture at Point of Delivery from external sources, as well as signature capture within the organization.
