The Belimo Group, a world leader in the area of electrical actuators for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, can look back on a very good business year 2004. The net sales in local currencies increased in the Region America by 10 percent, in Europe by 6 percent and in
Asia / Pacific by 36 percent, giving an overall increase of 10 percent. This growth, which exceeded the general growth in the markets concerned, strengthens Belimo's market leadership.

The net sales in Swiss francs increased by 7 percent to CHF 253 million. The Group net income amounted to CHF 28 million, an increase of 17 percent as against the prior year. The net income is thus 11 percent of the net sales.
Belimo expects a similarly high growth in 2005.
The Belimo Group will publish its definitive results and the Annual Report for the year 2004 on March 21, 2005.
