Core Imaging Releases Total Browser-Based Document Imaging Solution to IBM iSeries Application Users

CoreConnect(tm) Host Access provides One-Button access to key documents from an IBM terminal emulator

LADERA RANCH, Calif., March 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Core Imaging, a company which offers a revolutionary approach to platform-independent document automation, today announced the availability of CoreConnect Host Access for IBM iSeries (AS/400) application users. CoreConnect Host Access is the first document imaging solution for the IBM iSeries that is 100% browser-based supporting Oracle, DB2, SQL Server and MySQL database. This product allows users direct access to scanned or captured copies of any document related to data or transactions.

CoreConnect Host Access replaces an expensive and time consuming document filing and retrieval process with a single key stroke using an IBM terminal emulator to find a specific transaction. Users only need to press a user-defined key, and a browser window pops up with the related document or documents.

"This is an important bridge between the physical documents that people need to do their work and the data that exists in their legacy applications," said Bo Kelleher, Core Imaging's President. "CoreConnect Host Access provides a link to scanned and captured documents in the simplest way possible. Its simplicity is its power."

Common ways to use CoreConnect Host Access include:

-- Access Receivers, PO's or Invoices before posting a vendor
    invoice for payment.
-- Verify a signed Proof of Delivery Document to speed up
    Accounts Receivable.
-- Access customer Purchase Orders while processing or
    fulfilling their orders.

CoreConnect Host Access is compatible with version 1.2 or newer of CoreDoc(tm) Document Management System. Both products are available for trial.
