A total number of 266 500 new shares in Kemira Oyj have been subscribed on the basis of the stock option rights granted under the stock option programme of the year 2001. In accordance with the stock option programme the subscription price of shares was EUR 2.81 per share.
The increase in share capital relating to the new shares has been entered in the trade register today on 1 April 2005, whereby the share capital in Kemira Oyj increased by EUR 472 625.86. After the increase the share capital of Kemira Oyj is
EUR 221 260 194.51. Including the new shares, the total amount of shares in Kemira Oyj comes up to
124 762 200 shares.
The shareholder rights relating to the new shares commence as of 1 April 2005 and will entitle to a dividend equal to that of the old shares in the company. An application will be made for entering the new shares on to the Helsinki Stock Exchange Main List for public trading, together with the old shares in the company. Trading in these shares is expected to start on 4 April 2005.
